I call this girl scooter!! She's scooting off to find her love, underneath the jellyfish, seaweed, and coral!! I love this fish, she turned out better than expected for me :) I used colored pencil and crayon on cardboard. Cardboard seems very forgiving, thank goodness!! Well until next time, have a GOOD WEEKEND! Cheers!!

So i got creative the other day and drew this handsome bluebird..i thought i give drawing a try! I've dabbled in art a few times, but never really done much more than a few pumpkins and witches. Though halloween fare is my favorite to draw i had a thought to try my favorite bird of all times. I used crayon, colored pencil and and piece of cardboard i had in the house. To my surprise i think it turned out okay...at least i'm happy about it:) My favorite muse of all times is my "almost mother-in-law" who fills me with inspiration and creativity even though i don't tell her...she's got a great eye and i hope one day i can be as interesting of a person as her! I hope someone out there can see!!! I showed my fiance and he was truly impressed!! Well i hope everyone had a great tuesday, just remember it's one day closer to the weekend!! cheers ;)

Sunday Sun
So i was so excited by my first blog, i had to make an addition right away ;) I went for a walk in the neighborhood just because it was such a wonderful day. The bright sun, light breeze and a nice temperature made for a photo op. I brought my camera along just in case something caught my eye and of course it didn't take long for that to happen. My front porch looked so good that i had to take a picture of it...even the dead palm, which fortunately we will be getting replaced, hopefully sometime this week. I'll post the before and after pictures when that finally happens! My biggest pleasure was a bluebird who happened to be snagging a worm right as i was walking back and luckily held still enough for me to take his picture. I was so happy because they are hard to come by ever since i've moved from roanoke. I even found a little bird's nest right in our tree in the front yard. What a wonderful sunny sunday ;)
